3連勝的勇士隊今天在主場迎戰太陽卻險些被對手曬昏頭，太陽今天在板凳球員得分大爆發的情況下，打到比賽最後6分鐘都還一度處於領先狀態，不過勇士湯普森（Klay Thompson）在關鍵時刻挺身而出，帶領球隊拉出一波20：9的反撲，助勇士最終以133：120驚險收下4連勝。
太陽今天作客勇士主場，在前3節靠著板凳球員挺身而出的多點開花攻勢，與勇士柯瑞（Stephen Curry）和杜蘭特（Kevin Durant）互別苗頭，甚至在第4節前段，還在前鋒塔克（P.J. Tucker）帶頭飆分下，一度取得5分領先優勢。
不過比賽最後6分鐘勇士在湯普森帶領下展開反擊，他先是在三分線上出手造成對手犯規後三罰全進，隨後又與杜蘭特聯手在三分線外開炮，加上李文斯頓（Shaun Livingston）在禁區強攻得手，幫助勇士反倒取得高達9分領先優勢，最終也以13分差距收下4連勝，目前以7勝2敗繼續排名在西區第2名。
本場比賽勇士「四巨頭」合力拿下103分，其中湯普森與柯瑞皆砍進5顆三分球拿下30分，杜蘭特則有29分9籃板進帳，格林14分11助攻7籃板。
>太陽今天則是有6人得分上雙，先發的華倫（T.J. Warren）和布萊德索（Eric Bledsoe）皆有20分進帳，小將布克（Devin Booker）也有19分，不過今天太陽能與勇士一路拉鋸的最大關鍵，仍是在板凳群合力拿下了48分，比勇士整整多出22分，不過「四巨頭」的關鍵表現仍在今天幫助勇士驚險勝出。
